SADD- Students Against Destructive Decisions

Mission Statement:
SADD is a peer leadership organization dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving, teen violence and teen depression and suicide.

We currently have 30 active members.

We have at least 11 committees that our students are working on for this year thus far.

SADD participates in and attends the Safe Homes Committee, as well.

So far this year we have:
  • Attended the Rensselaer County Youth Summit
  • Had a booth at Open House
  • Participated in the Bell Ringing in honor of Chris Bascom
  • Executed Red Ribbon Day to raise awareness of drunk driving
 
We are currently working on:
  • A booth at Winterfest
  • MADD Awareness Day
  • Grim Reaper
  • Prom messages to seniors
  • Mock car crash
  • A second Red Ribbon Day
  • Save your friends life over airwaves contest
  • Dessert night
  • And more...
