8th Grade Scheduling and Testing
Believe it or not, our 8th graders are getting ready to make another transition. We understand the anxiety that comes along with making a schedule for 9th grade. Uncertainty is a word that comes with the territory. We hope to alleviate some of the questions and concerns through a variety of programs beginning with classroom presentations by our counselors. Mark Wood, original lead violinist with the TransSiberian Orchestra, will be at Columbia in March working with the District’s orchestra students. He will guide all string students, grade 5-12, in merging traditional and modern styles of music in his Electrify Your Strings program.
