Australian Animal Project
Students in Mrs. Davis’ 3rd grade classroom just finished learning about Australia. The project culminated with the students writing a research paper and making a three dimensional model of an Australian animal of their choosing. The students were very creative. Projects ranged from a Bilby cake to a stuffed Kookaburra. When asked what their favorite part of the unit was, the class unanimously voted for the “animal project” and learning about the Great Barrier Reef.
