Watercolor Fruit Still Life Paintings
We worked with templates for this project. The emphasis was on learning to work with watercolor paints. We were inspired by Paul Cezanne’s fruit still life paintings, and arranged a balanced composition using the fruit templates. Some students created their own patterns for bottles, vases, and plates. We learned how to make the objects more realistic, by showing reflection/highlights, color blending, and gradual color changes.
