Genet is a special place, with many opportunities for students. As we grow as a school, we will continue to create a history, and our own traditions. Currently, students participate in special events such as the Fun Run, Food Drive, Halloween Parade, and Holiday Concert. School-wide and community events are an important component of each student's learning experience; however, each teacher also maintains his or her own special traditions in the classroom which make their program unique.
Teachers at Genet are constantly pursuing the programming of school-wide assemblies, events, and programs to further enrich the learning environment. Curriculum materials, methods, and assessment techniques are continually re-evaluated. Parents involvement and support are important components of our success.
