WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP

Each year, Goff eighth graders have the opportunity to travel to Washington DC.  Since we have only a limited number of seats available on the chartered buses, we are only able to accommodate 315 students. Therefore, participation is on a first-come first served basis.  Anyone returning the permission form by Thursday, October 16, 2008 will be guaranteed a seat.  Students who bring in the form after this date may be placed on a waiting list.

The cost of the trip will be $255. Students can earn a part of the $255 by:
1. Selling pasta dinner tickets – Students are credited with 33% of their sales.
2. Working at the dinner – Students will receive a $10.00 credit.
3. Pasta Dinner Bake Sale – Students are credited with 75% of their sales. Click here for more info.
4. Working at the bus garage – students receive $5.00 credit/hr. A maximum of three days of work is offered to each student. See Mr. Taylor if you are interested.
5. Participating in the magazine sale- Students are credited with 40% of their sales. Here is more information.
6. Selling tickets to our Applebee’s pancake breakfast-(see info)
