BROWNIE TROOP ACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR THE TROOPS ABROAD

Our Junior Girl Scout Troop will be collecting items to send to our Troops for the holidays. There is a drop off container in the Main Lobby of Green Meadow.  It will be located there from Thursday, October 11, 2007  until Thursday, November 8, 2007.  We are hoping to reach more than 400 Capital Region military personnel with your generous donations.  Below is a list of requested items from our troops.  

Items our Troops could use:
Tooth paste, fly traps, Flea collars, chapstick, tooth brushes, deodorant,  hard candy , baby wipes, chips/snacks, lotion, eye drops, nail clippers, antibacterial soap, wet naps, all occasion cards, envelopes, stationary, magazines, newspapers, pens/pencils, shaving cream, toilet paper, homemade cookies, Kleenex, disinfectant soap, spaghetti-o’s, little Debbie snacks, Girl Scout cookies, hand cream, powdered drink mix, lemonade powder, ice tea mix, ball hats, gloves, razors, gum, life savers, journals, bar soap, shampoo, baby powder, watch hats, international phone cards, lip- gloss, ramaen soup, (dry) cup of soup, first aid items, crayons, coloring books, games, books, comics, beef jerky, tuna (can or packed), trail mix, dried fruit, nuts, energy bars, canned snacks (Pringles, packaged cookies, canned meals, hostess cupcakes, instant coffee and tea, microwave meals, antibacterial wipes, foot powder/cream, q tips, tissues, cough drops, insect repellent, Motrin/Tylenol, band aids, sunscreen, wash clothes, DVD movies, music cd’s, portable DVD player, MP3 player, crossword puzzles, board games, baseballs and gloves, footballs, Frisbees, soccer balls, children toys, school supplies, cool max t-shirts (brown), socks, black and white flip-flops for shower, sock liners, goggles, sunglasses, can openers, hat plates, AA and AAA batteries, rechargeable batteries and chargers, 22/11v, electrical converters, small flashlights, English/Arabic dictionary, playing cards, trial-size personal care items, artificial Christmas trees with trimmings, letters, cards (to them).
