Peregrine Falcon

What does a Peregrine Falcon look like ?
  • They have long pointed wings that are about 3.1 cm long. Under the body it is dark blue to gray. They have pale bluish tails and yellow bills.  Their throat is brown and they have blue tails.

Where does it live?
  • It lives in a variety of habitats, such as coastal waters, and tundra's. They are mostly found on cliffs and pinnacles.

What is the Peregrine Falcon  related to?
  • It is related to a Hawk.

What does it eat?
  • It mostly feeds on other birds and fish.

How fast is it’s dive-bomb?
  • It can dive-bomb up to 200 mph.

What is their prey?
  • Their prey are other  animals.

Why are they endangered?
  • They are endangered because man is destroying their habitat and chemical pesticides are interfering with them making babies.
