Fingerprinting and background checks are conducted for all new employees, unless otherwise provided by law or regulation of the Commissioner of Education. Board policy

Professional Development
Teachers certified after February 2, 2004 must participate in 175 hours of professional development over five years to maintain their teaching certificate. Teaching Assistants must participate in 75 hours of professional development over five years to maintain their teaching assistant certificate. Read more

The district uses PowerSchool to manage student records, grades, attendance, schedules, and many other pieces of student information.

Staff Complaints and Grievances
The Board of Education recognizes that staff complaints and grievances regarding work rules arise from time to time. In many instances, the complaint process is covered by collective bargaining agreements, and in those instances, the grievance procedure outlined in the agreement shall be used. Board policy
